In last week’s update, we learned that over 94% of women in the U.S. between the ages of 18-29 own a smartphone. This is the key demographic for OAASYS because women in this age group account for approximately 70% of all abortions.

Our objective at Heroic Media is to invest your generous gifts in OAASYS advertising campaigns that reach these women on their smartphones.

A young woman’s smartphone provides a window of opportunity through which Heroic Media’s OAASYS ad campaigns can redirect her away from Planned Parenthood, connecting her instead to information about our carefully selected pro-life Pregnancy Help Center partners.

There are many available “windows” on the internet where young women can choose to get their information. For example, if a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy uses a search engine on her smartphone to find information about how to get an abortion, she has several search engine options to choose from.

However, as you can see in the chart below, almost 9 out of every 10 mobile internet searches are made using Google’s search engine. For this reason, Heroic Media only places Emergency Response ads through Google. Doing so increases the probability that the ads you generously sponsor through OAASYS will result in saving a life from abortion.

In addition to our Emergency Response ads, recall that we also run video ads through OAASYS in order to educate young women between the ages of 18-29 that, should they face an unexpected pregnancy in the future, there is hope and help available to them at local pro-life Pregnancy Help Centers.

For our Education and Awareness program, we are blessed that we can reach most of the demographic of 18-29-year-olds through the “windows” of social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. As you can see highlighted in the graph below, the majority of young adults in the U.S. are frequent users of these platforms.
