Thanks to your generosity, every day, Heroic Media’s 30-second online Education and Awareness videos, that OAASYS plays on social media channels such as YouTube and Facebook, are reaching more young women between the ages of 18-29 and educating themabout the hope and help available to them at local Pregnancy Help Centers.

Last week, this program achieved a significant milestone: In just over two years since the date of the program’s inception in early 2017, these Education and Awareness videos have been watched over 6 million times! 

As you will recall, it is critical that we reach all young women in our country with these videos as quickly as possible because research reveals that greater than 50% of women aged 18-29 are completely unaware that pro-life Pregnancy Help Centers exist.

On the other hand, more than 93% of these young women know about Planned Parenthood, and they know they can get an abortion there. This “awareness gap” between pro-life Pregnancy Help Centers and Planned Parenthood leads to the sobering conclusion that there are millions of young women in our country who believe that Planned Parenthood is the only answer to an unexpected pregnancy. These women simply do not know that any other options exist.

We must never forget that if a woman doesn’t know about Pregnancy Help Centers before she faces an unexpected pregnancy, then she won’t go to a Pregnancy Help Center when she faces an unexpected pregnancy.

Thankfully, with your generous support, our Education and Awareness videos are narrowing the awareness gap every day.

Every 5 seconds, a young woman somewhere in the country watches one of these videos on her smartphone.

With your help, we are advancing toward our goal of making sure that all young women between the ages of 18 and 29 become aware about Pregnancy Help Centers. We must achieve this goal because this age group accounts for approximately 70% of all abortions in our country.

OAASYS is currently running our Education and Awareness video advertisements on social media channels in all 20 of the Top 20 cities in the U.S.: Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Dallas, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, San Francisco, Detroit, Miami, Seattle, San Diego, Boston, Sacramento, Minneapolis, Orlando, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore. In addition to these cities, we are also running Education and Awareness video advertisements in Austin, San Antonio, Oklahoma City and across Southwest and South Central Florida.
